Parker Wouldn't Leave Okla. Family, Defense Argues (Sep 19, 2011)

MANGUM, Okla. (AP) - A defense lawyer for Bobbi Parker says his client would not consort with a dangerous inmate and leave her family to be with him.

Defense attorney Garvin Isaacs told a Greer County jury on Monday in closing arguments that Randolph Franklin Dial was a "sick, sociopathic egomaniac," and that the wife of a prison warden wouldn't fall in love with him.

Isaacs displayed photos of Parker's family on a projection screen and said she's "a mother who loves her daughters."

Isaacs questioned the testimony of several prosecution witnesses who said they saw Parker and Dial together in inappropriate situations. Those witnesses include former Oklahoma State Reformatory Warden Jack Cowley, who testified he saw Parker and Dial on a front porch swing at the deputy warden's house.
