Indian Times: Native Artists To Go To France (Oct 01, 2011)

Eleven of Oklahoma’s top native artists have been selected to show their work in Paris, France at the 2011 Exhibit of the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture a l’Eau in November at the Grand Palais.  KGOU caught up with some of the artists at a fundraiser held in the Oklahoma City Ballet Conservatory.  We’ll hear from DG Smalling (Choctaw) and Edgar Heap of Birds (Cheyenne/Arapaho)  about their work and the show. The artists are America Meredith, Anita Fields, Brent Greenwood, Dana Tiger, DG Smalling, Joe Don Brave, Marla Skye, N.
