STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State basketball coach Travis Ford says he's excited about the Big 12's expansion possibilities, especially if it would involve adding Louisville, West Virginia or Cincinnati.

Ford said Friday that he thinks adding those programs from the Big East would turn the Big 12 into a "ridiculous basketball league."

Ford says he's glad the Cowboys will remain in the Big 12. He wasn't thrilled about the prospect of joining the Pac-12 because of concerns he had about playing late games on the West Coast.

He marveled at the fact that the Big 12 "went from a league that was folding to now one of the stronger leagues at the end of the day." The league this week said it hopes to add TCU to replace Texas A&M.
