OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — There was a nearly 20 percent drop in Oklahoma highway fatalities last month compared to the same period a year ago.

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety says there were 46 fatal accidents in September, a decrease of 11 from September 2010. Nearly half of those who died weren't wearing seatbelts.
