Governor Modifies Burn Ban (Oct 14, 2011)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma's governor says she needs to modify a burn ban under effect for much of the state. Gov. Mary Fallin says recent rain has sparked the changes taking effect Tuesday.

Fourteen counties will remain under the ban: Atoka, Beaver, Beckham, Bryan, Choctaw, Cimarron, Coal, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, McCurtain, Pushmataha, Texas, and Tillman.
