Mitt Romney Makes Oklahoma City Appearance (Oct 21, 2011)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said in an Oklahoma City appearance that he wants to change the tax code and the way businesses are regulated.

The former Massachusetts governor addressed about 150 people at a Friday fundraiser, one of two Oklahoma City events on his schedule.

Romney took aim at President Barack Obama but didn't mention any of his GOP opponents. In a speech peppered with patriotism, Romney vowed to eliminate regulations that he says stifle business and industry.

He also endorsed revamping the tax code to flatten out the rate and broaden the base.
