Fallin: SCOTUS Should Strike Down Health Care Law (Nov 14, 2011)

OKLAHOMA CITY - Gov. Mary Fallin Monday urged the U.S. Supreme Court to strike down the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as unconstitutional as soon as possible.

The high court announced it will hear more than five hours of arguments on the matter in March. The last time it allotted anywhere near that much time was in 2003, when it heard four hours of arguments on the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform law.

Fallin said the health care law will limit choice and undermine the quality of American health care while costing the state about $500 million in the process.
