Occupy Tulsa to Continue Protests Despite Arrests (Nov 15, 2011)

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A member of the Occupy Tulsa group says protests will continue around the clock despite recent arrests there and in New York.

Brian Horton said after an estimated 200 protesters were arrested early Tuesday in New York that the Tulsa group is "not going anywhere" and will continue protesting daily.

Tulsa police have made an estimated 40 to 50 arrests of protesters since Nov. 2 for violating the city's 11 p.m. park curfew.

Horton says Occupy Tulsa - as a group - has voted to obey all city laws. He says some individuals within the group have made personal decisions that it's their constitutional right to be in the park and have stayed there and were arrested.
