Indian Times: Bykes For Tykes in Pawnee, Oklahoma (Dec 10, 2011)

Thru the years Al Thayer (Pawnee/Shoshone) has given away over 500 bicycles to needy kids, along with bags of Christmas candy and fruit. He’s a man who does it the old fashioned way - with no computer or social networking, he manages to make dreams come true for those who need it the most, and he does it at Christmas time with a party.  He calls it Bykes for Tykes and if you’d like to help out, just call him at 918-399-9041.  The party begins on Dec 22^nd at 6:30 pm in the Pawnee Nation Roundhouse in Pawnee Oklahoma.
