Indian Times: T'is the season for the Choctaw Nation (Dec 23, 2011)
The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is looking out for the health of not only its citizens, but all the citizens of Oklahoma.  Their million dollar gifts to the Dean McGee Eye Institute and the Peggy and Charles Stephenson Cancer Center, both affiliates of the University of Oklahoma, will make it possible for increases in staffing for the Cancer Center…and for the Eye Institute, the money brings them closer to reaching their $46 million fund raising capital campaign that is providing funds for the completion of the new five story world class clinical research facility.  KGOU’s Kurt Gwartney spoke with the Assistant Chief of the Choctaw Nation, Gary Batton.
