Oklahoma Receives F for Science Standards (Jan 31, 2012)

WASHINGTON - Oklahoma scored poorly in science education standards based on a national review released Tuesday.

The study by the Thomas B. Fordham Institute gave Oklahoma and 9 other states an “F”.

The conservative education policy think tank says little science content appears in Oklahoma’s curriculum “what is present is often flat-out wrong, oddly worded, or not up to grade level.”
