State Dept. of Education Considers Rules Changes (Feb 15, 2012) The State Department of Education holds a public hearing from 1-to-4 p.m. Thursday to hear public comment on several different rule changes it’s considering. One change strikes a series of steps that must be taken before teachers are fired, including a chance for educators facing termination to provide evidence supporting continued employment.
