Gingrich to Address Oklahoma Lawmakers (Feb 20, 2012)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich plans to wrap up his visit to the Sooner State with a speech to Oklahoma lawmakers.

Oklahoma House officials say the former U.S. House speaker will speak to the Legislature at 10 a.m. Tuesday while the House is in session.

Gingrich planned to make two campaign stops in Oklahoma on Monday, with a speech at Oral Roberts University in the afternoon followed by an appearance at the Jim Thorpe Museum in Oklahoma City Monday night.

The Oklahoma Democratic Party is located across the street from the Jim Thorpe Museum and is planning a protest to coincide with Gingrich's visit.

The state GOP has invited all Republican candidates to visit Oklahoma, which holds its presidential primary March 6.
