Oklahoma Voices: Teach-In with David Hackett Fischer (Mar 12, 2012)

Through the month of March, KGOU airs lectures from the University of Oklahoma’s inaugural Teach-In, A Day with Some of the Greatest Teachers in America. This episode is a lecture from David Hackett Fischer. He is Distinguished Professor of History at Brandeis University and the 2005 winner of the Pulitzer Prize in History for his book, Washington’s Crossing. His speech presented Feb. 27 is entitled, “George Washington’s Gift.” Special thanks to the University of Oklahoma’s Institute for the American Constitutional Heritage, and its director Kyle Harper, for assistance in making this series of programs possible. Harper introduces the speaker.
