Google for Vets Comes to Oklahoma (Mar 15, 2012)

Oklahoma veterans looking for work now have another tool for finding a job. Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb announced the state launch of Google for Veterans and Families this morning.

The website was designed by the Google Veteran Network, made up of Google employees who have either served or have experience with the military.

Lamb said the resource is about more than jobs for returning veterans.

The site includes a tool that lets vets build maps of their tours. A video channel organized by states allows Oklahoma residents to also leave their tributes to area veterans.
