FBI Announces Drug Arrests (Apr 20, 2012)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The FBI has announced the arrest of 30 people in Oklahoma and California as part of a three-year long investigation into drug trafficking between the two states.

The agency said in a news release Friday that arrests were made Thursday in Oklahoma City, Del City, Norman and Tulsa, Okla., and in Sacramento, San Francisco and Stockton, Calif. The FBI says two men - Tyrone Tanner of Tulsa and Darnell Banks of Oklahoma City - are still being sought.

FBI special agent Clay Simmonds says the primary drug involved is ecstasy - which he said is similar to methamphetamine.
