8 Hurt in Shooting After OKC Thunder Game (May 22, 2012)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police say at least eight people were wounded in a shooting in Bricktown following the end of the NBA playoff game between the Thunder and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Capt. Lisa Camacho says the shootings occurred about 11:30 p.m. Monday in an area of the popular entertainment district east of downtown. Camacho says officers haven't been able to confirm how many people were shot yet but that some had turned up at area hospitals.

No fatalities have been reported, she says, and at least two of the victims were treated for minor injuries.

Camacho says two people have been arrested in connection with the shootings.

No names were immediately released.
