Oklahoma A&M Regents Approve OSU Budget (Jun 15, 2012)

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma A&M Board of Regents has approved a budget that includes tuition and fee increases for undergraduate and graduate students at Oklahoma State University.

The board approved the nearly $1.1 billion budget and the tuition increase during a meeting in Tulsa on Friday.

Tuition and mandatory fees for in-state undergraduate students will rise 2.8 percent - about $200 a year for full-time students taking 30 hours. OSU estimates tuition is currently about $7,400 a year for in-state undergraduates.

Tuition for in-state graduate students will go up 6.5 percent - about $400 a year.

The budget and tuition must be approved by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
