TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma says a small Indian tribe is violating a federal order barring activity at the site of a half-built casino by operating a fireworks stand out of the facility and trucking in building supplies.

In May, U.S. District Judge Gregory K. Frizzell ruled the Kialegee Tribal Town lacked jurisdiction to build a casino on a 20-acre parcel in Broken Arrow and issued an injunction halting construction at the site.

Since then, state attorneys say the owners of the land have disobeyed Frizzell's ruling by opening the fireworks stand inside the casino and trucking in loads of gravel to the site.

Joe Farris, an attorney for the tribe, denies his clients are in violation of the order and says the landowners have allowed fireworks to be sold on the property for years.
