Indian Times: Jacobson House to host film fest & art show (Jul 06, 2012)

The “Short Films Under the Stars” evening will begin next Friday 7/13 with Indian tacos from the Ceasar Family, on sale at 6pm followed by an artists reception at 8pm. In keeping with honoring Oscar Jacobson’s Scandinavian heritage,  Matt Feaver, of Norwegian descent and a life long Norman resident (pictured at left), will bring his unique style of painting to the show while the other featured artist is Gary Montgomery,  member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma.  Both artists will be present at the reception.  Sundown will mark the beginning of the film fest with films made by Stephen Judd and other native film makers.  For more information call the Jacobson House at 366-1667.
