Oklahoma Voices: Religion and the U.S. Constitution (Jul 16, 2012)

Constitutional arguments on the role of faith in the political life of the nation started before its birth and continue today. Whether it’s the religion of political candidates, school prayer or the display of the Ten Commandments in government buildings, some of the same issues debated in the 18th century are still unsettled.

On this episode of Oklahoma Voices, we hear from another expert on the formation of the U.S. Constitution and religion. All the recordings in this series are from a religious freedom symposium sponsored by the Institute for the American Constitutional Heritage at the University of Oklahoma.
