Eight High Temperature Records Set or Tied in Oklahoma (Jul 23, 2012)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The National Weather Service says four high temperature records for July 21 were set and four others were tied in Oklahoma.

The records set Saturday are 110 degrees in Seminole, 109 at Hobart, 106 at Fort Gibson and 103 at the Tenkiller Ferry Dam.

Records tied are 110 degrees at Tuskahoma, 109 at Watonga, 108 at Ralston and 107 at Altus.

The high in Oklahoma City reached 104 degrees where the record for the date is 107. The high in Tulsa was also 104 and the record is 109.

The forecast from the weather service calls for highs from the upper 90s to near 105 degrees through Thursday with only a slight chance for isolated rain showers.
