OSBI Reward For Cold Case Information (Jul 26, 2012)

BETHANY, Okla. (AP) The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering up to $10,000 in a reward in a 15-year-old unsolved killing.

Thursday marks the 15th anniversary of when Tiffany Johnston was abducted from the Sunshine Car Wash in Bethany. Her vehicle was found abandoned and her body was found the next day in Canadian County, less than a mile south of Interstate 40.

The medical examiner's office ruled that Johnston died of strangulation.

OSBI agents and Bethany detectives conducted multiple interviews but the case became inactive with no new leads to follow. OSBI says the agent assigned to the case retired last year, and the agent now investigating the killing requested a reward be offered in hopes of receiving new information.

Anyone with information is asked to call OSBI at 1 800-522-8017.
