Oklahoma Voices: OKC Mayor's Development Roundtable (Jul 30, 2012)

 

Each spring, Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett hosts the Mayor’s Development Roundtable. It’s an event intended to highlight the public and private sector’s work and to discuss Oklahoma City’s growth and development. On this episode, we bring you audio from the 2012 edition of the roundtable. While there are many people presenting information in what are called “lightning rounds,” we only have time for a few.

We’ll hear an update on the MAPS 3 project and information on a new charter school planned for downtown Oklahoma City, along with an update on some of the economic development partnerships. After those presentations, we’ll hear from Mayor Cornett as presents the Award for Outstanding Development. Judy Hatfield with Equity Commercial Reality, who re-developed Norman’s Campus Corner, introduces the speakers.
