Sundance Institute's Native Filmmaker Summit and Film Forward coming to OK. (Aug 11, 2012)

The week on Indian Times…this native filmmakers workshop has been brought to Columbia, China, Morocco and Mexico…and now its coming to Sulphur, Oklahoma.  The Sundance Institute’s Bird Runningwater, (pictured here) Director of Sundance Institute’s Native  American and Indigenous Program is delighted to bring this to the Chickasaw Cultural Center.  The Native Filmmaker Summit is set for September 6 to be followed by the Film Forward Film festival on September 7 & 8^th.  If you’re Native American and would like to take part in the Film Summit workshop, be sure to rsvp by August 31^st to Owl Johnson at Owl_Johnson@Sundance.org
