Inhofe, Pryor Partner on bill to Ease EPA Rules (Sep 20, 2012)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - U.S. Sens. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) and Mark Pryor (D-AR) are teaming up on legislation to ease regulatory rules on fuel tanks for farmers.

The two introduced a bill this week to amend the Environmental Protection Agency's Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure rule.

In a statement, Inhofe says the measure ensures farmers won't have to ``navigate this unnecessary regulatory process.''

According to the EPA, farms have until May 10 to prepare and implement their plans under the rule.
