Court Upholds Death Sentence of Chickasha Man (Oct 02, 2012)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals has upheld the murder conviction and death sentence of a Chickasha man in the shooting death of a friend.

The court on Tuesday rejected 35-year-old Ronson Kyle Bush's request for post-conviction relief, including a hearing on a variety of legal issues involving his first-degree murder conviction in the December 2008 death of Billy Harrington. Bush was sentenced to die after he entered a plea in which he did not admit guilt but acknowledged there was enough evidence to convict him.

Prosecutors say Bush shot Harrington several times after Harrington admitted having an affair with Bush's ex-girlfriend. Prosecutors say Bush then tied Harrington to a pickup truck and dragged him more than 200 yards into a pasture and left him there to die.
