"The Coming of the Blessing" Seeks to Reduce Premature Births (Oct 17, 2012)

A baby’s first birthday is a celebration for many families, marking the transition of a newborn to the approaching toddler stage of life. But each year in Oklahoma about 400 babies die before they experience their first birthday cake. KGOU’s Kurt Gwartney reports on how one program called The Coming of the Blessing is working to improve those numbers among one of the most vulnerable populations in the state and across the nation.
