Indian Times: Native America Calling comes to NIEA Conference in OKC (Oct 19, 2012)
This week on Indian Times, the National Indian Education Association (NIEA) held its annual conference this week in Oklahoma City.  Native America Calling came to do two live broadcasts featuring native leaders involved with education.  Inside the Cox Convention Center was a vast array of vendor and organization booths filled with information on programs from around Indian Country.   We’re going to hear from the host of Native America Calling, Tara Gatewood, and her associate producer and right hand man, William Kie. Gatewood is from Isleta Pueblo and Kie is from Laguna Pueblo, both still live with their communities and commute to Albuquerque where Native America Calling is produced.
