Cleveland County Board Discovers Absentee Ballots (Nov 09, 2012)

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - An already tight race for an Oklahoma House seat from Norman has become murkier after Cleveland County election officials discovered 60 uncounted mail-in absentee ballots.

Cleveland County Election Board Secretary Jim Williams says the ballots were discovered last night in a box containing discarded envelopes.

The Cleveland County Election Board started counting both the provisional ballots and the uncounted absentee ballots beginning at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
