Norman House Race Ruling Delayed (Dec 02, 2012)
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — A ruling in a lawsuit challenging the results of an Oklahoma House race where the incumbent won by just 16 votes was postponed. A Cleveland County judge delayed issuing a ruling Friday afternoon while allowing both sides to file any additional trial briefs by early Tuesday. Democrat challenger Paula Roberts has filed a petition alleging 10 different irregularities make it impossible to announce a winner in her contest with Republican State Representative Aaron Stiles.
