Uninsured Drivers Could Lose Tags (Feb 06, 2013)
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Uninsured drivers could have their license plate confiscated under legislation being pushed by the state's insurance commissioner. The separate bills would allow law enforcement officers to remove an uninsured motorist's tag and replace it with a temporary sticker. The plan also includes an administrative fee that provides temporary insurance coverage for the stickered vehicles.
