Echoing the themes of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, the film opened July 10th as the 40th anniversary of man's first steps on the moon drew near. In the not-too-distant future, Sam Rockwell plays a lunar engineer who mines helium from the lunar surface, where he's joined by a HAL 9000-esque robot voiced by Kevin Spacey.
