Harjo is Seminole and Muscogee Creek. No native filmmaker since the release of Smoke Signals nearly ten years ago has reached a wider audience than Harjo. His film Four Sheets To The Wind was shown around the world and at the Sundance Film Festival, where it received a Special Jury prize for its leading lady.
