Indian Times: Perspectives on Poolaw (Oct 05, 2009)
This week on Indian Times we speak with artist Thomas Poolaw about his grandfather, the prolific Kiowa photographer, Horace Poolaw. He left an outstanding legacy of photographs from the 1920?s into the early ?60?s. His influence on his grandson, Tom Poolaw, is immense. The relationship between these two artists is the subject of the latest show to open at the Jacobson House in Norman this Friday. The show is called ?Perspectives on Poolaw, The Art of Thomas Poolaw and the Influences of Horace Poolaw.? The opening reception is from 6-9pm. For more information call 405-366-3667.
