2006 State of the Schools (Sep 29, 2006)
Five years after voters approved a temporary sales tax to fund the MAPS for Kids school construction program, we take a look back at the improvements that have already taken place as well as the ones still underway. Oklahoma City School Board President Ciff Hudson delivers his annual “State of the Schools” address, which he delivered last month at an event sponsored by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce. We also listen to a recent speech by Dr. Phil Berkenbile, Director of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.
