KGOU’s Susan Shannon speaks with OU law student Nelva Cervantes about a 2-day symposium entitled “A Brave’s New World: Exercising Sovereignty in the 21st Century.” Oklahoma is home to 39 tribal governments and this symposium will address, with panel discussions, everything from sovereignty and tribal law to Indian education and health care.
