Drag Boat Racing on the Oklahoma River (Jul 13, 2007)
Glenn Brown’s inspiration has turned the Oklahoma River into one of the premier drag boat strips in the nation. The Ozarka Bricktown Nationals drag boat race is expected to bring $3.5 million into the local economy. This weekend, pilots of the fast boats will come from both coasts, Canada and across the nation to pit their engines, boats and skills against one another on a river that used to need mowing.
