Reopening the Canadian Border to Older Cows (Oct 10, 2007)
Federal agriculture officials are planning in the near future to re-open the border to some Canadian cattle and beef. Some Oklahoma lawmakers say it is too soon, but one of the state’s beef industry groups is backing the decision. Guests include Third District Republican Congressman Frank Lucas, National Farmer’s Union President Tom Buis, Second District Democratic Congressman Dan Boren and Scott Dewald of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association.
