Richard Roberts Resigns as ORU President (Nov 26, 2007)
The regents at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa meet for a second day today to begin the search for a new school President. On Friday, Richard Roberts – the son of university founder and evangelist Oral Roberts – tendered his resignation amidst a flurry of lawsuits and mounting allegations that he spent school money for personal use. We review how the charges came to light and how some people are reacting to Roberts stepping down.
