Governor Henry urges bi-partisanship and optimism in State-of-State (Feb 02, 2009)
Governor Brad Henry, in today's State-of-the-State address, spoke of “working together” in bi-partisan ways to make the “tough decisions” required to weather the current economic storm which has led to an estimated $600 million state budget shortfall. Henry, a Democrat, delivered his seventh State-of-the-State address to a joint session of the House and the Senate… each dominated by Republicans.
