Rare Guitar Provides Link To An Oklahoma Musical Pioneer (Jun 06, 2010)
This weekend, the Oklahoma History Center unveiled a genuine artifact of musical history... a guitar once owned by Jazz icon and electric guitar pioneer, Charlie Christian. KGOU's Jim Johnson visited with the gentleman who 'found' this rare Gibson ES-250 , Lynn Wheelwright, to discuss this rare find and the artist who used it to to transform an industry, and help mold our musical tastes back in the golden era of amplification.
