Funeral services are planned Monday for the late Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice Marian Opala.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. at All Souls' Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City.

Opala died this week after suffering a stroke over the weekend. He was 89 years old.

A Polish immigrant, Opala became the first foreign-born member of the state's highest court when he was appointed in 1978 by then-Gov. David Boren.
