FAA Looking at Inhofe Landing (Oct 28, 2010) TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe's landing of an airplane on a closed runway in Texas. Inhofe says he didn't see large X's marking the runway as closed until it was too late to change course. The FAA tells the Tulsa World's Washington bureau that investigators are trying to determine if any action is necessary. « back |
