Oklahoma Voices: Energy Execs Discuss Role of Creativity (Nov 29, 2010)

Winter weather is dropping temperatures, and that is good news for Oklahoma’s natural gas producers. New drilling technologies that have produced large reserves of the fuel are also keeping the price of gas low.

Those low prices also mean a reduction in revenue for the legislators in charge of putting together a state budget.

In this episode of Oklahoma Voices, we hear from four men who are at the heart of the natural gas industry: Devon Energy’s John Richel, Sandridge CEO Tom Ward, and George Kaiser, chairman of Kaiser-Francis Oil and BOK Financial. They are joined by former Oklahoman oilman T. Boone Pickens.

The energy executives spoke at the Creativity World Forum Nov. 16 in Oklahoma City.
