OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma Gov.-elect Mary Fallin is traveling to Washington this week to meet with President Obama on homeland security issues and with incoming U.S. House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio.

Fallin said Tuesday she plans to join other newly elected Republican governors in the meeting with Boehner Wednesday to discuss ways to repeal the new federal health care law. Fallin also said she will voice her concerns about extending the Bush-era tax cuts.

Fallin said she also plans to meet with Obama on Thursday to discuss various homeland security and safety issues involving the states.

Fallin is still the 5th Congressional District representative. She will be formally sworn in as Oklahoma's 27th governor on Jan. 10.
