Annual Bird Survey Starts Thursday (Jan 05, 2011) If you’ve been feeding birds in your yard, get ready to count them. The annual winter bird feeder survey begins Jan. 6. The Oklahoma Dept. of Wildlife Conservation is asking participants to pick two days for their count between Thursday and Sunday, and to count the birds four times each of those days.
