Oklahoma Voices: Congressman Tom Cole on Lame Duck Congress, Defense Appropriations (Jan 10, 2011)
U.S. Rep. Tom Cole (OK-4) was recently named as a member of the powerful Defense Appropriations Subcommittee in the U.S. House of Representatives.  From this position, Cole will be able to influence the flow of federal dollars to Oklahoma's military installations - including the two largest - Tinker Air Force Base and Fort Sill.  KGOU News Director Kurt Gwartney recently spoke to Congressman Cole in his new Norman office about his thoughts on the lame duck session of Congress that recently concluded, as well as his new committee assignment.
