PAWHUSKA, Okla. (AP) - The Osage Nation says it's confident in the merits of its case as the U.S. Supreme Court weighs whether to hear an appeal about the tribe's lawsuit filed against the Oklahoma Tax Commission.

Tribal officials say residents are exempt from paying state income tax because Congress never disestablished Osage County as a reservation.
