Oklahoma Voices: The Legislative Session and the Budget (May 30, 2011)
The legislative session came to an official end last Friday with a whimper at the state Capitol. The reason for the quiet completion of lawmakers’ work is that it came a week early. In this episode of Oklahoma Voices, KGOU welcomes University of Oklahoma political science professor Keith Gaddie, longtime political reporter Scott Cooper, and a new voice to KGOU, Emily Stacey, the state Capitol bureau chief for E-Capitol to discuss what happened at 23rd and Lincoln.
We then visit David Blatt about the state budget. The Oklahoma Policy Institute has just published its review of the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
